I've just got back from work this evening - I'm having a pretty good time of it all of a sudden as my timetable has fallen into place and I've got a whole load of lovely classes and motivated business groups. A far cry from last year but I'm really happy with it!
The weekend was nice and we did get a chance to relax a bit. Warsaw was a little hectic and we had to get up in the middle of the night. I did manage to get a copy of Thoreau's writing on backwoods travel to go with my copy of Walden. To be fair I've found Walden fairly hard going when I've flicked through it so I haven't delved that deeply yet.
I should get a chance to get to the woods (finally) this coming weekend. I was simply too lazy on Sunday and the weather was too nice. Nice weather equals too many people - Bring on the snow!
Unfortunately Agi will be at Uni most of the weekend which is hard on her as she won't get to relax and both of us don't get to spend as much time together as we'd like.
She did buy me (yet another) new knife from Swiat Nozy at the weekend. It is a little neck knife called a Meyerco Buddy System II. Which you can see on the right courtesy of the Meyercousa.com website. I've started sharpening it and convexing out the edge bevel a bit. I see it as being a back up or survival kit knife - I've got almost enough of them for a group test now!
I've also (see the previous post's comments) been reminded of a Polish knife forum. I joined it a while back to look for info on the RAT 7 knife and if they're having a get together when Agi is in Warsaw I may well tag along with her and go to look at sharp objects.
