The National Archaeological Museum - Warsaw

On Sunday we visited the Panstwowe Muzeum Archaeologiczny in Warsaw. It was a very enjoyable quick trip but a little confusing as they had a temporary exhibition from Latvia at the same time and you couldn't tell what was from where!
There were some nice small cases of things laid out clearly and I'm getting more from these trips as I learn more about primitive skills. Indeed on this front it was quite inspiring as I'm now wondering what the small polished axes would be capable of - they were tiny being only about 3-4 inches long. There were also some beautifully made microlithic points of arrows and harpoons as well.
We only spent about 45 minutes there as we were very busy but it was well worthwhile and has got new ideas spinning in my head!
