Zakopane Style Cabins

In Zakopane you can't help but see the large number of wooden buiuldings in town. The majority of these are built in the "Zakopane style". Although nice to look at the majority of them are designed as multi-storey guest houses withe small fluted rooves that are reminiscent of Eastern temples.

These photos show a couple of the nicer ones. The generally use logs hewn square and either chinked with rope of with some sort of squirted hard foam that is textured to look like rope.

Just curious. How many square feet are there in those log cabins? I really like the design of them.

They are pretty big as they are built as guest houses - there are probably 8 bedrooms in the ones in the pictures.
